Lead Fee Refunds
This policy applies to Bars and Tables Event Staffing only, and only to the lead fees professionals pay. It has nothing to do with any other business or store.

Clients pay Bars and Tables nothing
Posting a request, receiving quotes, messaging professionals and hiring are all free for clients. Bars and Tables takes no commission, no deposit and no percentage of any job, so there is nothing for a client to be refunded. Payment for the work itself is agreed and settled directly between the client and the professional, away from this site.
What professionals pay
A professional’s first three leads are free. After that, a single lead fee is charged at the moment a lead is claimed, priced to the estimated size of the job, and it is never more than $22. There is no subscription and no lead package.
When a lead fee is credited back
If a client goes quiet after a professional has quoted, we remind the client by email at 24 and 48 hours. At 72 hours of silence, 90% of the lead fee is credited back to the professional automatically, without them having to ask. The 10% retained is the card processing cost, which is not returned to us.
Credit is applied to the professional’s next lead fee before any card is charged.
When a lead fee is refunded
If a claimed lead is invalid, duplicated, or the contact details do not belong to a real event, email hello@barsandtables.com from the address on the professional account within 30 days of the charge and the fee is refunded in full to the original card.
Refunds are issued through Stripe, our payment processor. Timing depends on the bank or card issuer, and is typically three to ten business days after approval.
What this policy does not cover
Bars and Tables introduces independent local professionals. We do not screen, employ or supervise them, and we are not party to what a client and a professional agree between themselves. Disputes about the work, hours, overtime or payment for a job are settled directly between those two parties.
